all threads important to the site, such as rules, plot and celebrity claims can be found in this board. after signing up, all members must be sure to read all threads under this board carefully. failure to do so could get you banner, or prevent your character from being accepted.

after reading the important thread, the next step is to create your character. using the template provided, fill out the required feilds in a new thread, then post and wait for acception. if your character is declined, there will most likely be a reason explained to you.

if you have a board that you want to share with us in hopes of getting more members, go for it. guest friendly, but your board must be as well.

perhaps like many folk out there, your character has a diary or journal they write in often times to express their feelings. you can post their entries here, and it is a great way for others to grasp how your character is feeling.

if you don't want to join a million different threads and roleplay for ages just to build up a single relationship with another character, then this is for you. you can then control who your character is friends with, or maybe they're enemies? but whatever the case, it's still fun to make friends through rp!

hey, i remember when you took that photo! if your character has photos of themselves or their family and friends, you can start a photo album for them here. in order to get matching pictures for your character, it helps to have a celebrity face.

is there that particular scene from your characters history that you've just been dying to write as a roleplay? well if that's the case then this is the perfect chance! please post in third person, just as if it were an actual roleplay thread. if you pm an admin for permission, they may let you create an actual past rp with others involved - maybe a memory with two childhood friends?

a lot of characters turn to their blogs to rant about their days, rather than trust in their friends. in a school where people can go from best buds to cut throat hatred, that's a wise decision. don't forget to state whether the blog is public or private; unless you set it to private other characters can read it.

the fire dormitory is located in the warmest part of the dungeons, so that while the light is dark, to their liking, it isn't cold enough to bother them. The light is very dim, and it takes on a reddish hue due to their element. boys rooms are to the left of the entrance, girls to the right.

located in the western tower of the castle, the only dorm higher than the thunder is that of the wind students. the air is just right that it keeps a static charge, which helps the thunder students better control their power. the boys dorms are to the left of the entrance, girls to the right.

located underground, directly below the large lake in the grounds, the water students have the dorm farthest from the castle itself. the glass ceiling gives the students a nice veiw of the lake above, and the air is kept cool and damp by the water. the girls dorms are to the right of the entrance, and the boys to the left.

the only dorm located on the main floor, the earth students have their dorm in the area of the castle closest to the forest. there is no floor, as they prefer to feel as if they are with nature. when entering, girls dorms can be found to the right, and boys to the left.

the wind dorm is the highest from the ground, as the winds are more feirce the higher in the sky. they often leave the windows open so that the breeze gets in, and there is a spot sheltered from the wind for homework purposes. girls dorms can be found to the right of the entryway, boys to the left.

everyone has to start out somewhere, right? such is the case for the beginners, anyone in grade nine who is just learning to control their powers. the moves in this class are basic and easy, so that students can quickly start to grasp a hold of their abilities

well you've been at the academy and trained your powers for a year now, so once you get into grade ten, things start to move into more complex moves. still not quite mind-bending and fascinating moves, you will be able to improve your defense and offense more in this class.

students in the advanced class are now entering their third year at the academy of the elements, so they can control their powers by this time, most likely. they will now start to learn moves that will do much more damage, and even a little healing skill. some students start to get an idea of how they will use their powers when graduated.

at last, the final year at the academy has dawned on the group of students now in the expert class. this year they will learn the rest there is to know on their element, and even start to focus on the creation of new moves, their trademarks. rather than mock fights, real fights will be staged to test their abilities.,

if you need a good book on a certain subject, you can be almost positive that the library of the academy of the elements has something just right. it's massive, with hundreds upon thousands of books on just about any subject you could imagine. the library is also open to students wishing to study, but not practice their powers.

in a school such as the academy of the elements, injury is almost always unavoidable. instead of having wounded students transferred to the hospital in the nearest town for every little injury, there is a nurses office that will serve many first aid purposes.

even though the academy isn't what one would call a 'regular' high school, it still has one of these. a guidance office. if you need to talk to someone about your problems, you're free to drop in at any time. the school will take it upon themselves to send you here if you show suicidal or violent tendencies.

since the academy was built in a castle, there are no shortage of rooms and hallways. a small portion of the academys classrooms are now abandoned, and students sometimes use them to practice their powers - or get up to no good. fights sometimes break out in the hallways, as crossing paths with a rival is sometimes unavoidable.

remember your creepy basement back home? multiply that horrific room by about a hundred times, and you've gotten close to what the dungeons look like to most of the student body. darker student groups such as fire and thunder can often be found lurking down here, and if you aren't careful when walking alone, you might find yourself in a spot of trouble. old cells litter the place, as it was obviously in use years ago, and some skeletons still lie in piles of bones in their prison.

since the academy is a school where the students must live-in, like a boarding school, there has to be some place for them to get food. the mess hall has five long tables, one for each element, and one shorter table facing the rest at the front of the room, for the staff.

been acting up again? you must have been, in order to end up in here. or else you may have been wrongfully accused, possibly framed, maybe? many students quickly become regulars here when they think they can get away with rule breaking.

step outside of the wide double doors that are the entrance to the academy, and you find yourself on a nice, well-kept lawn. a few trees provide shade for students that like to do homework outside or stand chatting with friends. the lake lies to the northwest, and the wilderness to the east.

lying slightly to the northwest of the sweeping green lawn, the large lake of the academy sits at the foot of the large cliffs used for raves and parties. sand covers part of the shore, creating a pleasant beach for students that want to do a little sunbathing. careful you don't get burnt!

located at the very edge of the academy ground perimeter, a cliff rises out from behind the lake. in the early days of the school, earth students carved a rough trail up the side so that students could climb and enjoy the veiw. the present day population often holds parties here at night, when they can sneak away from the school.

formerly just called 'the forest' by the inhabitants of the academy, a recent discovery of dangerous animals dubbed it a new nickname, which stuck. students below the age of sixteen are forbidden to enter, and even the older students are cautioned to keep back

inside this board are the sub-boards for the houses of your character(s). I don't add these upon creation, you must PM me requesting it.

this is the towns only and famous nightclub, but there is an age restriction. only those students aged 16 and older are allowed to get in, so grade nines and tens are going to miss out on the fun. well, that is unless you sneak in or somehow get fake id.

do you have a band that you would kill to see? well since there's a huge student population, there also happens to be a concert hall down the street. both famous and underground bands will sometimes play shows there, and it's a great place to be when they do. standing area only, and you have to get your tickets in advance. (note that only three bands can be upcoming at one time, and only ten students can attend a show. there will be a list of who's going on the thread. if there is an open spot, request a show from a band your characters like. you have to give us at least a two week span in case some people don't come online every day.)

the cafe is just a little coffee shop in the town outside the academy. they sell some food as well, but beverages are their specialty. it isn't rare to see a few friends here on the weekends, getting away from the school.

looking to pass time while someone replies to your thread? or maybe you're just bored. whatever the case, this board is for the creation and playing of games. any member is free to create a game, but staff can just as easily remove it if it is seen as inappropriate.

when you want to talk about something that would take too long to write and discuss on the chat box, then create a thread in the chat board. please keep on topic, and don't make insulting or pointless topics.
