Jett slumped in his chair. The room was far too hot to work in, in his opinion, and he wasn’t afraid to let everyone know it. With a long droning sigh, Jett let his head down on the table with a thud. He had been up until three in the morning playing games, and now he was regretting it. He couldn’t even remember if he had been assigned homework, let alone if he had done it or not!
The air was so humid. He could only guess it was for the ‘static heads’ and there fiery friends that the room should be kept this way. “Stupid ‘hot heads’, can’t they just keep them selves warm without cooking the rest of us?” Jett moaned aloud.
Jett focused his power with a clenched fist, pulling the water out the air into a blob before him. This made the room a much more acceptable temperature. Slowly, the almost solidified blob of water sprouted arms and a head. Legs took a little longer, and animating it longer still. The water man took a bow, span on his heels and started to play football with a pencil sharpener. A sudden yawn broke his concentration, and the man pooled on the desk. Jett guess the other students would be arriving soon.

Damian was not looking forward to his next task as he walked down the hallway towards the classrooms for the beginners, the new kids at the academy. He had been asked to be a teacher's assistant, since teaching was something he had considered as a career for when he left the academy. Although he was still a year away, they still decided to give him the position and see how he did, kind of like a test case. But what would he be able to help these little kids with? He barely remembered how his own father had taught him the basics, it was such a long time ago. But fortunately, there would be another teacher there to help him, pointing out what he should be doing. Because knowing Damian, he would probably do the wrong thing and these kids would be screwed.
He walked into the classroom and was surprised to see that barely any students had shown up for class. He glanced at the clock on the wall and grimaced, he was early for the class. The professor hadn't even shown up yet and there was only a handful of kids that were waiting around. One of them had decided to build some sort of animated bubble, water elementist. 'How interesting.' Damian thought to himself. He didn't want to say anything to the kid though, he had never been good with the younger students.
"Umm, hi. I'm Damian Black, earth leader and assistant teacher for this class." Damian announced to some of the students who had taken notice of his entrance. "I'm guessing we all are early and it should be a couple more minutes until your professor is here." Which was basically a lie. He didn't know how long it would be till the professor got here but hopefully it would be soon. He was starting to wish he didn't take this position in the first place, but there was no backing out now.

Jett jumped a little with a teacher’s voice suddenly behind him. His watery ‘friend’ lost its link to it’s masters concentration and pooled on the desk. “Oh great!” Jett moaned to himself as his book got soaked. Reaching out a finger, Jett touched the puddle of water, and drew it back into a ball on the tip of his finger, and plopped it back into his water bottle. Opening his book he found all the words were smudged. “Oh that is just ‘f-in’ fantastic!”
It was then Jett realised it wasn’t the teacher’s voice he heard. “Woohoo!” Jett mouthed to himself, pumping his arm in celebration. “Substitute teacher! This lesson is going to be a total doss!” then Damian added the teacher would be along later, and this burst Jett’s bubble, who then slumped back onto the desk in a huff. “Totally sucks ass!” he mutter, maybe a little too loud.
The only reason Jett was early for this lesson was because he had skipped the one before. When it started to rain, Jett returned to the building, but obviously couldn’t get caught walking the corridors, so the classroom was actually a good call.
Already bored from waiting around, Jett set about making all sorts of rude shapes from the water in the bottle next to him. Each explicit shape collapsed soon after it’s creation as Jett still couldn’t control his power for long. “Wake me up when it’s over!” Jett muttered, and posed being asleep.
