It was a relatively nice day out. There wasn't any snow falling and the sun was shining bright with a gentle breeze. The weather being the reason Lucy Mae found herself outside practicing controlling the wind.
She sat on a branch of a tree, her booted feet swinging with the wind. Her long black hair whipped around her face and her milky green eyes swept the lawn, looking for something to knock over or lift with the wind.
She nodded to the side and the wind blew that way, her customary smile getting wider. Pulling her hands out of the pockets of her brown faded leather jacket she twirled around her finger, watching the wind form a tiny tornado. She flicked her finger in the direction of a rock and watched as a crack appeared. She smiled harder at her success.
Then a gust of wind, not one that she was controlling, blew by. She lost her balance on the tree branch and felt herself fall to the ground. Before she hit the ground she willed the wind to catch her allowing her to float down to the ground like a leaf. Laughing Lucy Mae layed on the cold earth, throughly enjoying her own little games with the wind.

Jett was so glad when the weather improved he was outside in an instant. He longed for the day when he, like the other water students, could keep the rain off himself for as long as he liked. Until that day though, Jett moped around inside when the weather was bad like any other person.
Jett had some serious energy to burn having been cooped up for so long. Though it was cold out, Jett decided that as he was going for a jog around the grounds, that shorts would be best, and a long sleeved t-shirt. With a beep, Jett started KISS, Made For Loving You start playing on his i-pod. It was his favourite song, and now it also reminded him of the kisses and the night he had shared with Lily!
It was his second lap round the grounds. Mud was splattered up Jett’s back and on his calves from running through puddles. He found himself close to the main building needing the loo, but a bush and then the lawn was in his way. Jett was Jett and so didn’t think twice about using the bush as his own personal convenience, less a quick glance over each shoulder! “Oh yeah…” Jett praised himself with obvious pressure relief, but just then the wind suddenly changed direction and so Jett nearly sprayed his own leg. “crap, crap, crap… no, no, no… FEW! That was close!” no sooner had he avoided that disaster when a mini tornado started to whip up on the lawn. “Oh that is just not fair!” Jett complained loudly “Can’t a guy pee in peace?!” having managed to survive the mini tornado without wet shoes, the wind changed yet again! “Son of a bi-OH its in my socks!” Jett looked up to give a piece of his mind to whoever had made the wind when he saw the girl fall from the tree.
Jett, the little hero he was, dived over the bush with a move even Daniel Craig would have been proud of and was in his mind well on his way to saving the girl before she hit the ground. However, Jett only just arrived in time to see her float down on the wind, let alone catch her from falling.
“Was that you doing all that?!” Jett moaned tersely as he jogged over. “Flipping fart machine!” Jett stopped moaning long enough to realise she was beautiful. So Jett too to staring at her like a goofy love sick puppy.

Lucy Mae looked up to see some guy running over. This only set a fresh wave a laughter through her. He was wearing shorts! Shorts in the freezing winter! Finally composing herself Lucy Mae stood up and fixed her dishelved appearance.
Looking at the guy with her milky green eyes Lucy Mae smiled her customary smile. "Hey!" she said happily as she dusted her leather jacket's sleeve, "I'm Lucy Mae!" Now she was fixing her long black hair so it wasn't so wild and dusting off her torn jeans. "Who are you?"

Jett stopped next to Lucy and close enough to the tree so he could lean onto it. his breathing was heavy and air craving from his run. “I’m Jett, Jett Stone. An you, you were blowing me.” Jett paused for his own sentence sounded too dodgy, “I mean, you made wind.” Jett rubbed his forehead, “How is a guy meant to go for a jog if everyone is using there powers across the entire place? You don’t see me making things damp… apart from my sock you made me pee over!” Jett bit his lip, “Forget that last bit…”

Wait... She made him... Oh my gawd that is too funny! Lucy Mae burst out laughing, once again. This guy was really getting her in a great mood! She could laugh for hours, but she knew she ought to stop before he gets mad at her.
"Well," Lucy Mae said with a smile, "I'm sorry about your... er... sock. But really I was just having some fun!" It was true, Lucy Mae was having a great time out here and just because some guy was mad that it was windy doesn't mean she was going to stop playing around.
"You know Jett," Lucy Mae said casually as she spun her finger round and round, forming a mini-tornado. "You are pretty funny," Lucy Mae said and launched the little twister at the tree she just fell off. Watching a large chunk of bark fly from the tree Lucy Mae continued, "But really you should loosen up and have some fun." At that she willed the wind to blow at him at a great force, strog enough to roll a large bolder at the edge of the forest, which was pretty far away.

Jett looked a bit sceptical of the apology as a result of the laughing. Now Jett had stood still, his sweat in the cold felt like it had frozen. However just as he was about to fold his arms to warm up a little, or at least shield himself from the breeze, Lucy started to mix thing up a little.
“Um that’s a twister…Lucy, now play nice… oh…oh…” but Jett was falling hard onto his butt and doing backward rolls like the bolder across the grass before he could squeak out a reason. Suddenly Jett felt himself leave the ground and actually take off! “Oh shit… I want mummy!” Jett called, flapping his arms around like a bird. “I want Mia, I want my bed…” Jett flailed around.
“OK, OK, I’m loose, I’m loose, fun? I never had so much fun, now get me down…-at least my sock is dry now-…-what am I saying?- GET ME DOWN!”

Okay so maybe the wind was a little too strong. Seeing how it sent poor Jett flying and crying for help. Oops... As soon as she realized what was happening, which might have been too long, Lucy Mae stopped the wind, only allowing enough to let Jett float to the ground like she had done earlier.
Lucy Mae walked over to Jett a little worried. "Agh I'm sorry Jett!" Lucy Mae said, smiling, "I guess I shouldn't have made the wind go that hard... Ooops."

Jett was glad when his feet touched the ground. He dropped to his knees and sat on his feet. “That was wild!” Jett laughed, though he did bang his tailbone.
“Don’t worry about it…” Jett reassured Lucy, “Just recommend more up at the start!” Jett knelt up and rubbed his butt, “It was good fun actually”
Getting to his feet, Jett returned to Lucy, “To be able to fly… was always a dream I have”

"Well I'm glad I made your dreams come true!" Lucy Mae replied smiling. Just to be sure she checked him over, making sure he wasn't hurt. It would be horrible if she actually had hurt him!
Getting an idea Lucy Mae's smile grew wider, it was a fun idea. Jett would just have to agree to it! "Hey Jett," Lucy Mae said her idea making her excited, "You want to fly for real?"

Jett smiled, “Fly for real?” he asked sceptically, “got some pixie dust stuck in your belly button?” Jett was still buzzing from his last flight, and assumed it would be similar. “You-you will have to come too!” he added, not wanting to miss a first class flight on wind airways with a pretty lady. “Hope, hope you got the hang of it, my butt is going to bruise up tonight for sure!”
